As summer’s sun rays are soon to descend upon Sandpoint, it is worth reminding its residents that the beloved annual Festival at Sandpoint will be upon us in little to no time. Enshrouded in enchantment against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Pend Oreille, this 7b town eagerly anticipates the return of the annual Festival at Sandpoint.
Mark your calendars for July 25 through August 4, as this year’s event promises to be a celebratory symphony of sensational sounds, delectable delights and unforgettable experiences. According to Cienna Roget, marketing and office manager for the Festival at Sandpoint, the performances that will comprise the 2024 Summer Series lineup include Blues Traveler with Justyn Priest, An Evening with Violent Femmes, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue with Big Boi, Maren Morris, Lee Brice with Madeline Merlo, Jason Mraz & The Superband with Molly Miller Trio, Colbie Caillat & Gavin DeGraw, and How to Train Your Dragon - In Concert — a live movie in concert performed by the Festival at Sandpoint Orchestra and conducted by Morihiko Nakahara.
Securing your spot to one of these performances is as easy as a few clicks. Ticket prices range from general admission to VIP extravagance, accommodating every budget and preference. As Cienna points out, “Aside from general admission tickets, the Festival at Sandpoint offers Season Passes starting October 1 that will grant entry into every performance of the upcoming Summer Performance Series. Although 2024 Season Passes are sold out, another way to procure tickets for the entire Summer Series is through our sponsorship packages. Sponsorships start with a $2,000 donation to our nonprofit and include tickets to every performance in the Summer Series, advanced entry through the exclusive Sponsor gate, access to a reserved seating area, and more exclusive benefits dependent upon contribution.” Festival organizers are also committed to prioritizing the safety and well-being of attendees. “The Festival at Sandpoint works closely with local police and fire departments and strives to provide all our guests with a safe, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere by implementing industry safety standards,” Cienna explains. “Some important policies for guests to keep in mind include no re-entry, no glass (no exceptions), and no hard-sided coolers, rolling coolers, wagons or strollers.” She encourages that guests become familiar with all venue policies at FestivalatSandpoint.com/policies prior to attending while noting that security measures, policies and procedures are subject to change at the artist's discretion.
If you’re looking to enjoy the show while helping to make this year’s festival a success, there are many volunteer opportunities. Volunteering at The Festival at Sandpoint is not just an opportunity to give back — it's a chance to become an integral part of a vibrant community event. Whether you're assisting with event setup, providing guest services or helping to maintain the festival grounds, volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this musical extravaganza. Cienna adds, “It's a chance to forge new connections, immerse yourself in the festival atmosphere and make memories that will last a lifetime. Plus, volunteers receive perks such as festival merchandise and access to exclusive volunteer events, making it a rewarding experience in more ways than one. Join the volunteer team and be part of the magic at The Festival at Sandpoint!”
This year’s event promises to be nothing short of legendary. So, pack your picnic baskets, dust off your dancing shoes, and prepare to embark on a melodic odyssey unlike any other. The stage is set, the performers are poised, and the only thing missing is you. See you at The Festival at Sandpoint!
