Publisher’s Note: Embracing the New Year

By Steve Russo

Sandpoint Idaho Winter

As we bid farewell to the year that was and embrace the dawn of 2024, it is with immense joy and anticipation that I extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you. The turning of the calendar not only signifies the passage of time but also opens the door to new opportunities, fresh perspectives and untold adventures.

In the spirit of the new year, our team continues its commitment to bringing you captivating stories that shine a light on the people, the places, the organizations that make Sandpoint so special. As we navigate the uncharted waters of the coming months, our resolve to deliver quality and engaging publications remains steadfast.

This issue, our first of 2024, is our Weddings + Wine Edition, featuring a variety of stories, from hosting a memorable rehearsal dinner at home, thoughtful gifts for the newlyweds, planning the ultimate honeymoon, prepping your skin for the big day, and more! We highlight Bonner General Hospital Foundation's 2024 Heart Ball, the wonderful community art hub that is Creations, and Angels Over Sandpoint's biggest fundraiser of the year, The Follies. We also put the spotlight on some wonderful local businesses: The Turtle House and Grand Pend Oreille Weddings—beautiful wedding venues here in our backyard—Heart Bowls, and Signature Aesthetics. You'll find a lot more in this issue, including a wide variety of wonderful community events.

Your continued support and engagement are the fuel that propels us forward, and we are grateful for the privilege of being your trusted source of local stories and entertainment.

May the year be filled with joy, prosperity, and the fulfillment of your aspirations. Here's to 2024—a year of boundless possibilities and remarkable discoveries!
