The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center educates visitors about the historic contributions of aviators and innovators who have helped create modern technology. The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center was founded by Dr. Forrest Bird, inventor of the medical respirator, and wife Pam in 2007. Located in Sagle about 17 miles southeast of Sandpoint off Sagle Road on Bird Ranch Road.
